Eveline M. Blanchet, 94, of Sebring FL, (formerly of Haverhill) passed away peacefully Saturday, February 22, 2020 at Fairway Pines in Sebring, FL. She was the devoted wife of the late Robert J. Blanchet.  Eveline was born in Haverhill, MA, April 19, 1925 the daughter of the late Dona F. and Louise (Godin) Gagnon. She has resided in Florida since 1996.

Eveline was a longtime resident of Haverhill. She was a strong woman of faith and a communicant of Holy Angels Parish in Plaistow, NH. Eveline was a member of the Women’s City Club of Haverhill, and  a member of The Auxiliary of The Knights of Columbus – Saint Jude of the Apostle Council. She enjoyed drawing, painting and was gifted with an incredible creative talent that she shared as a member of The Haverhill Arts & Crafts Society.

Eveline is survived by her three children, Elaine Woodbury and husband Jason of The Villages, FL, David Blanchet and wife Deborah of Concord, NH and Louise Benoit and husband Harvey of Highlands Ranch, CO. She also leaves behind four grandchildren, Michael Blanchet, Melissa Cannizzaro, Richard Blanchet and Rachel Albuquerque, four great grand-children, Jonathan, Alexander, Allison and Benjamin and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her brother, Roger Gagnon and sister, Irene Desjardins.

A graveside service will be held in the spring from The  Holy Angels Cemetery in Plaistow, NH. Services are in the care of The Grondin-Carnevale Funeral Home, 129 Kenoza Ave. Haverhill, MA 01830. For directions or online condolences, please visit www.GrondinCarnevale.com.
