Francis Kenneth Bouchie, known to loved ones as Kenny or Frank, 84, of Amesbury, MA, passed away peacefully, at his home, Monday, October 18, 2021. He was the devoted husband to his wife Frances M. (Ragusa) Bouchie for 59 years. Frank was born August 16, 1937, in Gloucester, MA, the son of the late Alphonse and Alfreda (Boudreau) Bouchie. He was raised in Gloucester, and after graduating from Gloucester High School in 1955, he honorably served his country in The United States Army. Frank was employed as a machinist working at Murmac Machine, Ipswich Machine, United Shoe, General Electric, Shetland Industries and Varian for 28 years, and then for Salter Bus and Ipswich Bus Company during his retirement. His dedication was even more evident as a father and grandfather. His devotion to his children will be forever felt by them. He will always be lovingly remembered and missed by his family and friends.
Frank is survived by his loving wife Frances Bouchie of Amesbury, five children, William Bouchie of Amesbury, MA, Yvonne Lariviere and husband Brian of East Wakefield, NH, Julie Michaud of Kingston, NH, Jeannie Peeke and husband Bryan of Hampton, NH and Kathryn Bouchie of Amesbury, MA. He also leaves behind five grandchildren, Victoria, Olivia, Nicholas, Lindsay and Caden, two sisters, Norma Silva and Gloria Tedesco, two in-laws, Frank Donahue and Tish Bouchie, many nieces, nephews and many dear friends. He was predeceased by three siblings, Judy Donahue, Joyce Bennett and Edward Bouchie.
A funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday, October 30, 2021, at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Parish, 2 School St, Amesbury, MA 01913. Burial is private. Arrangements in the care of the Grondin-Carnevale Funeral Home, 129 Kenoza Ave. Haverhill, MA 01830. www.GrondinCarnevale.com.
