Harry N. Robinson, Jr., 90, of Haverhill, passed away peacefully, Saturday, March 20, 2021. Harry was born in Cambridge, MA, February 7, 1931 the son of the late Harry N. Robinson, Sr. and Clara (Forrest) Robinson. He will be dearly missed by his adoring family.
Harry was raised in the south shore of Massachusetts and attended local schools. He honorably served his nation during the Korean War in the United States Air Force. Harry was a longtime member of the American Legion Post #34 in Plaistow, NH and was proud of his service. He was appointed Constable for the City of Haverhill from 1986-1988 and was also employed with Hilldale Cemetery in Haverhill. Harry also worked as a security guard at Glynn Memorial Home in Haverhill for several years. He enjoyed volunteering with Haverhill’s Brightside program and loved the outdoors.
Harry is survived by seven children, Joanne Robinson of Haverhill, Raymond N. Robinson of Haverhill, Daniel E. Robinson and wife Lauri of Brockton, MA, Christopher L. Robinson of Haverhill, Lorraine J. Valliere of Haverhill, Frank J. Robinson and wife Larissa of Wintersville, OH and Geoffrey P. Robinson of Haverhill. He also leaves behind many grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his loving wife of over 30 years, Joyce (Taylor) Robinson, two sons, Michael J. Robinson and Harry N. Robinson, III.
