Lucy M. Wyman, 88, of Amesbury, formerly of Haverhill MA, passed away peacefully, Friday, September 20, 2019 at The Merrimack Valley Health Center in Amesbury, MA. She was the devoted wife of the late Edwin C. Wyman. Lucy was born in Newburyport, January 12, 1931 the daughter of the late Albert and Dorothy (Abbott) Ellery. She spent her early years in Newburyport and attended local schools. After traveling, she settled in Haverhill, MA where she married the love of her life and raised her family. Lucy was employed with Ken’s Donuts on White Street in Haverhill and later retired from Lucent Technologies after over 20 years of dedicated employment. She was a Brownie Troop leader for Haverhill troop #147. Lucy enjoyed time with her family, especially her adoring granddaughter, Julianna. She leaves behind a legacy of love and will be dearly missed by her family.
Lucy is survived by her three daughters, Sybil Dodier, Emma Wyman and Kim Wyman. She also leaves behind her granddaughter, Julianna, two great-grandchildren, Mary Lindsay and Ethan, two sisters, Mary Sanborn and Peggy Lambert, several nieces, nephews and many close friends.
