Maurice (Moe) Thibeault, 76, of Bradford, MA passed away peacefully, Thursday, March 26, 2020 at High Pointe House in Haverhill. He was the devoted husband of Maria (Fici) Thibeault. Maurice was born in Pittsburg, NH, December 2, 1943 the son of the late Joseph and Rose (Marquis) Thibeault.
Maurice was raised and educated in Pittsburg, NH graduating from Saint Albert’s Grammar School. He attended Seminary School in Buxport, ME but returned home to work on the family farm. He later moved to Massachusetts where he raised his family, eventually settling in Bradford. Maurice was employed as a Mason and Job Supervisor with Pynn Masonry in Plaistow, NH for nearly 40 years until his retirement. His legacy of hard work and craftsmanship can be found in buildings and homes throughout the Merrimack Valley and beyond.
He enjoyed traveling to see family, camping at Long Lake in Naples ME, and laughing while watching his favorite TV shows. He will be remembered as a big hearted, hardworking man with a sense of humor that made an impression wherever he went. His greatest love was time with his family, especially his seven adoring grandchildren. He was truly loved by his family and will be dearly missed.
Maurice is survived by his loving wife of over 33 years, Maria G. (Fici) Thibeault of Bradford, MA, two children, Dr. Dennis Thibeault of Mansfield, CT and Andrea Mirarchi and husband Stephen of Harvard, MA and two step-children, Kellie (Eldridge) Ryan and husband Harvey of Tewksbury, MA and Joseph Eldridge and wife Randee of Haverhill, MA. He was the youngest of a family of 7. He leaves behind two brothers, Normand Thibeault and wife Georgette, Adrien Thibeault; two sisters, Lucille Hughes and husband Bob, Jeannine Burns and husband Hasen; sister-in–law, Louisette Thibeault; seven grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and dear friends. He was predeceased by his brother Raymond and his sister Pauline.
Services are in the care of The Grondin-Carnevale Funeral Home, 129 Kenoza Ave. Haverhill, MA 01830. As a result of the present health crisis, a celebration of Maurice’s life will be announced at a later date.
