Obituary

Renzo F. Collins, 71, of Zellwood, FL passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 27, 2020  at Advent Health Orlando Hospital in Orlando, FL.  He was a former resident of Beverly, MA. Renzo was born March 11, 1949 in Long Island, NY the son of Stefania (Zucchiatti) Collins  and the late Arthur F. Collins. He was a graduate of Beverly High School and later received his Associate of Science Degree at North Shore Community College.  

Renzo honorably served his nation  in the United States Navy. He was employed for over 30 years with Sylvania in Danvers, MA as an Electrician. After retirement, Renzo enjoyed the warm weather in Zellwood Florida where he most recently resided. He was a coin collector and enjoyed making wood airplane and boat models. Renzo adored his family and friends and his spirit will live in their heart and minds forever.

He is survived by his mother, Stefania (Zucchiatti) Collins, of Beverly, MA, four children, Renay Ohlson and husband Eric of North Andover, MA, Scott Collins of Peabody, MA, Joseph Collins of FL and step-daughter,  Christina Robichau  of Peabody, MA. He also leaves behind eight siblings, Arthur Collins and wife Jane of Nashua, NH, Barbara Cote and husband Ronald of Beverly, MA, Gary Collins and wife Dorothy of Lynn, MA, Danny Collins and wife Lisa of Groveland, MA, Linda Rambis and husband Joseph of North Chelmsford, MA, Loretta Busch and husband Jay of Temecula, CA Richard Collins and wife Sandra of Hamden,CT and Christine Ferrari and husband Wayne of Beverly, MA. Renzo will also be dearly missed by four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service will be held at Saint Mary's Cemetery in Beverly, MA. Arrangements are in the care of The Grondin-Carnevale Funeral Home, 129 Kenoza Ave. Haverhill, MA 01830.
